Back like I never left..

Well friends here we are again.

Why did I take so much time off you ask? Because I thought I had this whole dating thing figured out.  I though I had found the "one".  And like every idiot that dogs their friends for a guy or lady, here I am.  Back on your news feed asking for your forgiveness. 

I was foolish to think this wouldn't be a part of my life anymore.  I was foolish to think that I didn't need you anymore.  Even more than all of that, I was foolish to believe that I had found the fucking "one"!

I apologize friends.

The good news is that I'm here now.  I can only go forward from here on out and of course I have some great stories for y'all. 
This is what I DO!

I'm like the Jesus of dating, I died for all your sins.  I make the mistakes for you so that you don't have to. 

Pause: Don't go all religious on me because I've been gone for so long.  It was a metaphor folks.  I'm a poet.  I use those. 

So what have I been up to? Well dating, of course. Poetry, of course. 

And what cycle would be complete without getting my heart broken.

Sigh.

I didn't tell y'all about the first time, but I'm gonna tell it all here in the next couple of months. 

I have run into some " what the FUCK?!" dudes.  Oh wait until you hear about those. 

Pause: Don't act like you don't know what a "what the fuck" dude is.  We've all had them (guys too--these broads out here tripping).

I have so many stories to tell and so happy to be back.  I've missed you all.

Cougar Status..

(The title of this one should be how I failed at being a cougar). This is a story about #16. I worked at Meijer for about 7 years.  I was a service coordinator which basically meant that I got to stand in the front of the store and look cute.  Perfect job for me.  In a way, I was the boss.  #16 started out as a "bagger," a teenager outside pushing carts.  I was well into my 20's--mid to late 20's.  I quit that job and some time passed.  I went into the store and there, behind the meat counter, was #16, still looking adorable and boyish.  Let me do the math really quick in my head.  He had to be about 18 or 19 now.  We flirted--we always had.  I asked him for his digits, I may have even actually said digits.  Cougar move "A" was successful.  We started going out--breakfast here and there.  We would chill at my place or do something mundane.  I laid out some charm (I can be charming if I try).  He was ...

Taboo..

I like to think of myself as an equal opportunity employer actively accepting applications for an unfilled position.  All can apply, even the white boys.  This makes 75% of my black friends crazy. Pause:  Crazy with curiosity, I think.  They always ask if it's really pink, like on the pornos.  Yes, yes it is. They turn their faces upside down and ask me how I could possibly be attracted to a white dude.  My response, "Well I really think it's the same except the white dudes worship the ground I walk on, respect me, pay for everything, have better jobs, better credit, and give great head." (I like to throw that last part in for shits and giggles.  I have, however, found it to be mostly true in my experience.  Some of them have numbers too--don't worry, I'm getting there).
